Hi, I did a major problem because I had no option. While leaving my ex company they haven't cleared my last 3 months salary and handed me only release letter not service/experience letter. Now my current employer forced me for service letter I had no other option rather than adding the Designation and joining date in that release letter which is accurate.

My ex employer mentioned that was tampered in the BGV. I resigned immediately from my position. The HR haven't reached out to me yet. I only received an email from the BGV team for explanation on this. Other than that I have submitted each and every document which is accurate and even my UAN history reflects my work history. What should I do now?

You have landed yourself in an indefensible position. A tampered document, irrespective of its accuracy, is still a fictitious and despicable one and the prospective employer will hesitate to lend any credence to it. Still what you can do is to admit the mistake, submit all proof of the facts and hope and pray for the best.

As I already resigned if they don’t bring this up shall I mention it purposely or silently leave?

Hi, You should have submitted the release letter as it is and should have explained the situation. Now this act of yours will have impact on your credibility.

You have resigned, so that should end the matter if the resignation is accepted. It is for the management to decide whether to allow you to leave peacefully or take follow up action, if they are going to view it seriously. At any rate don't repeat the mistake.

No I took my lesson. Just wanted to know if I can hide my ex employer? Or shall I mention that experience in future?
