Hi,
Our organization is into Trading Business and no such defined policy has been made. It keeps on changing employee wise. We have been given 21 days leave annually. We also have rule that if there is 3 late marking then half day will be considered. I have a question if any employee has 11 days late marking then how many half days should be considered. Pls. reply.

Dear Shwetha,
As you are employing only four employees you are covered under State S&E Act wherein you will find provisions relating various types of leaves such as EL, CL, SL etc. Now these are the minimum leaves which are required to be provided by the force of law. For implementation of these leaves you do not require to frame any leave policy. Leave policy is required to be framed only when you are granting leaves which are more in number then statutory leaves.
