Dear all, I have doubt about leaves, how many leaves can apply in a month?
e.g: I haven't used any leaves yet (August), but I would like to apply all of them in this month.
Is this possible?

@V Manikanta - As per Factories Act there is only one type of leave that is Annual leave. There is conditions to earn the annual leave. The worker should work for 240 days in the previous year to earn leave in the current year. To qualify the 240 days - Annual leave enjoyed in the previous year, lay off , in case of female worker maternity leave etc. to be considered. But the Annual leave earned will be on the basis of actual days work divided by 20. Any fraction of half a day or more shall be treated as one full day leave.

Sick leave is usually the workers enjoy from ESIC.

Moreover, there may be leave policy of the organization, some provisions may be in SO, may be by union(s) negotiation - there is casual leave, sick leave specially for workers not covered under ESIC etc.

I think there is either a confusion in your company about leave rules, or the employer is not following standard procedure. You have not stated how large the company is, so we do not know if standing orders apply. I assume it is a factory.

1. You have 1 days of leave for every 20 days worked in the previous calendar year.
2. These leave will accrue (be available) on the 1st of jan of the next year and you can use them as you please, subject to HR Policy on how leaves are applied and sanctioned.
3. If you do not use the leave during the year, they can be carried forward (to some extend and under certain circumstances) to the next year, again, subject to rules.

Now, please rephrase your question with the full details.
