LEAVE adjustment CL and EL ( Like if some one has leave balance from Jan to July Cl 5 and EL 7 and he takes 5 leaves in July (where we adjustment please help.)

Hi,
The commonly followed practice among Companies is that any leaves which is 3 and less than 3 can be adjusted against CL and any leave beyond 3 to be adjusted in EL only.
If you have sick leave and the reason for absence is due to sickness then the same can be adjusted against SL subject to submission of medical proof for illness.

As VML sir said, any continue leave of 3 day or below of that can be adjusted against CL and continued 4 days of leave and above can be adjusted against EL. Casual leave means the leave without any plan that the same cannot be two long.
