Dear Seniors,
Need your suggestion, since the stay order on minimum wages, will not give any relaxation to the company shall we go head and revise the basic salaries. Also, there are a few employees whose gross salary is much higher but the basic is lesser e.g gross salary is 22000 but the basic is 10100. should we also revise the basic for these employees who are overall getting more than minimum wages.
Need assistance at the earliest.

Hi Manisha,
Yes it need to be implemented effective the same date of revision ie 01st April 2017 onward. The appeal was filled by by few companies against it however it doesn't mean that it supersedes the order of revision.

Hi Manisha, The basic salary always need to be equal or more than the minimum wage. if it is not as so then you need to revise it also.
