Hi All,
As per the recent requirement, it is necessary for employers to link AADHAR to ESI Members as well as their family member's AADHAR. Please help me out with procedure and also is there any possibility for employees to link AADHAR if ESI number is given to them.

Dear Supriya,
Yes. ESI AADHAAR linkage can be done either by employer or employee or by ESI branch office. But ESI AADHAAR linkage is not mandatory, it's optional to ESI pehchan card. If employee linked his and his Family members Aadhaar to his ESI no. and verified with OTP, he no need to go for biometric photo pehchan card registration. The TIC renamed as e-pehchan card will serve as Permanent card if AAdhaar linked and verified. But if employees don't want to link their AAdhaar, they can go for Biometric Photo pehchan card camp as usual.
You can call me for any clarification in this.9491771437
