I wonder as to what made you to start your career as a recruitment consultant with B.Tech in computers and MBA HR. You could have started your career as a Techie in an IT company where your HR qualifications can also be made of use of since you need to apply people management skills as a team leader or as HR professional in an IT company where your knowledge of IT can come hand in discharging various HR functions like designing jobs, job competencies, assessing skills and developing training programmes for IT professionals etc.You need think in terms of long term career.

@sai consulte: Thank you for your response.
What you said is right but they are so many companies are not ready to hire a mba graduate for Technical position. i am attended couple of interviews with IT companies during the interview rounds they drilled my head on why i choose mba after B.Tech and the result is completely negative.

Now when you appear for another interview, you tell them that your core competencies lie in technology and this knowledge can be updated by continuous training and retraining. The reason that made you to go for MBA HR is that people management skills are very essential as you move up to leadership positions in the organisation as you are required to lead teams by holding them as coherent groups through sustaining their motivation, coordinating their efforts and maintaining their synergy.at work place. Thus people management skills are essential for success of any project. Thus Your MBA HR will effectively compliment your technology skills. You can respond on these lines to justify your MBA HR.
