Correspondence MBA has low value.(my personal opinion)
It will be better if you can join some evening college and do regular MBA.
Chennai will have many such opportunities.
Look around and try to attend evening classes.

Yes. Like other courses, receiving study material and reproducing the same in exam may help you in passing the exam and obtaining the MBA degree, but it will not serve the purpose.
If you can not join a full time course, attend part-time and write exam.For courses like MBA
class room attendance is a must where lot of case studies are discussed and participants (students) need to make presentation also. Need to prepare project reports/thesis etc. These are all
not available in a distance learning program.
