Look at the leave rules present in your state. do you have to make apolicy or are you supposed to make a policy.
also you have Casual leaves, sick leaves and earned leaves for the number of days you have worked. you may like to look at the state rules for them

Dear Akshatha
As per the Shops & Commercial Establishments act in Karnataka all the employees irrespective of Probation/Trainee/confirmed are applicable for 10 SL/CL and for every 20 days worked 1 EL.
Do prepare the leave policy accordingly as per the act. Any organisation shall give more leaves bus should not reduce the leaves.

Hi Aksha,
If you are an On role employee of your company then you would be entitled for the minimum leaves as per the shops and establishment act applicable in Karnataka state, beyond that it depends on company's discretion that how many leaves an employee can avail during the probation period irrespective of the designation.
Do revert in case of further queries.
