Hi Mr. Dundu,
Its a Common Problem to all the HR's, especially to identify the fake experience in IT Industry.
Best thing is to do a back ground check, employee verification with the concerned company, Check out with the website of the company its logo. tally the same with the certificates enclosed.
Also need to know the concerned supervisor of the associate, team size of the respective dept, in the Interview, brief abt the company.
This is what is generally done.
But itseems there are lot of companies established specially to serve the purpose of giving fake experience they do have all the amenities required for any company interms of websites & other registrations.

Hi
I am working as a IT Recruiter, how I Identify the Fake Experience through the following questions. This questions will really help you to know whether he is really looking for a change and his fake experience.
1. Reason for looking Change?
2. CTC details
3. As fequently questions with his current company.. and his current projects for an example... what are the technologies you used in your projects, what is your role in your project, what is your team size and tell him to give a brief about his project.... In the mean while you check in his resume whether this detail available or not...
4. Tell him to give a testmail or a blank mail through his offical Email ID

THE BEST WAY TO ASCERTAIN WHETHER THE EXPERIENCE SHOWN BY A CANDIDATE IN HIS RESUME IS BONAFIDE IS TO SUBJECT HIM WITH QUESTION ABOUT THE PARTICULARS ASSIGNMENT HE CLAIMES TO HAVE HANDLED OR IS HANDLING. FOR THIS IT IS NECESSARY THAT THE PERSONS CONDUCTING THE INTERVIEW SHOULD HAVE THOROUGH KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE SUBJECT. FURTHER TO ASCERTAIN THE CORRECTNESS OF DETAILS OF THE CTC, SEARCHING QUESTIONS CAN BE POSED. WHAT IS YOUR TAKE HOME SALARY, WHAT ARE YOUR SAVINGS, ARE YOU HAVING YOUR PERMANENT ACCOUNT NO. HAVE YOU PAID ANY TAX DURING THE LAST YEAR. FROM THESE THINGS A FAIR IDEA ABOUT THE CTC CAN BE HAD.

Hai
I will agree with all the suggestions given
I want to add some more which may help to know whether it is real or fake
1.Have a brief excel about the candiatate resume... like what skills they have used and for how many projects
2. Just read the projects ....where we can come to know whether he as really used that or simply he has mentioned
3.While validating just compare what you have made and what the answer's given by him
4.Collect all the revlevant data from him
5.Identify the gaps in his CV

Dear Friends, I am working in a MNC as HR from last 10 years. Some times its easy to find the fake resume but most of the times its not easy. Better to follow the company rules and casually check the details. No need of going deep in to their details and make investigation like CID. Because even genuine candidates may seem like a fake candidates when we do that. Better not to worry about fake experience as long as that persons work is good and helpful for our company

First of all the recruiter himself/herself should be knowledgeable about the sector he is hiring for.
Recruiter needs to closely study the CVs of applicants and list questions to be asked and specifically keep additional questions for those any doubt arises from pre scrutiny of applications.
Face to face interview, queries, probing(non intrusive) can generate a picture whether any aspect of CV is fake.
An experienced interviewer well versed in art and technique of interview can identify probable fake experiences being claimed and act.

Dear Dundu,
Past employment verification is a perfect way to identify fake experience provided by a candidate. It helps the employers to verify past employment details of an applicant, such as work experience, last withdrawn salary, and more. When you have validated reports about your potential employee, you can easily make out if he is lying on the resume or not.
When it comes to performing past employment verification, you can choose from different verification tools available online. These tools take into account complete information needed for thorough verification and deliver quick as well as accurate results.
Out of different online verification tools, one is Verified Resources. The platform helps you validate your potential employees' past employment records and provides access to verified results in less time.
