Can anyone explain the procedure in detail? What activities typically form a part of onboarding in large MNC companies?

The on-boarding is coupled with induction and orientation program. It entirely depends , how your organization wants the employees to be groomed and trained. Ideally this is a phase which begins the stage of learning and unlearning. Hence every activity is drawn keeping that in mind.

- There are administrative based activities including generating employee id's , I-Cards and etc
- HR Activities such as filling of forms , HR Policies and benefits
- Finally Training which includes culture building through presentation, leadership address and different training games and team based project to help the employees understand their new organizations.
