very good suggestion amit.It would be nice meeting HR related people in mumbai.
Would prefer a weekend and some central location.Maybe dadar or something like that so that central as well as western area located HR members both find it convinient.

I am from delhi and this last weekend our team had a blast at the HR cite Delhi meet ...you can also check our photos and minutes of the meet to more about it ...

You dont need sponser for these small meets,everyone can contribute for the meet andshare the expenses.
For the rest detailed info you can ring up Kiran,Geeti,Nitin etc,they wouldbrief you up for the meet management.

Dear All,
Lets give it a kick start by meeting for the first time to discuss;
1) Organising committee
2) Find out possibilities of inviting speakers going forward
3) Find out which all companies can sponsor our meet, especially like the training companies and the HR solution providers are always game for such events. Also we can explore any other options
4) What are the developmental activites that we can do for ourselves
5) Training product overviews can be arranged
6) Plan for the coming quarter
And I am sure above all this, we would "Share Best Practices"
Date : 6th July 07 (Friday)
So the venue would be : Hotel Sea Princess Lobby and then we move to their coffee shop. (to be borne by all of us)
Time: 1900 hrs to 2000 hrs

Hey Guy!
Just simple guys ..we all first went for a volunteers meet which was more for knowing about each other along with thefixing up agenda for a proper HR meet...so ifrst off all we put a down a list of voluneters and then met to decide about how to go about in the next meet.

Dear Amit,
Since we all will be meeting for the first time I suggest keep it an informal meet.Once we all meet we can discuss and plan the next meet.
Calling speakers organising workshops or talks take effort time and money.and its very disappointing if members dont turn up.
I think we need to give atleast 10 days notice to members to plan a meet.We all have to schedule accordingly.
I also find that juhu is very out of the way specially for us who commute from central side.It need not be a fancy place could be at Baristta or CCD at Dadar,Sion,Bandra.First lets familiarize ourselves with each other.
Suggestions are most welcome.
