Dear Mr Pramod Dubey,

Thanks for sharing the article. Gone through the contents of the article. However, considering the current times, the following points can be added:

a) Employee Satisfaction Survey (ESS): - While the role of ESS is not taking feedback as such, however, in the course of ESS, the top leadership inevitably gets the feedback. Therefore, its importance cannot be ruled out.

b) Feedback can also be captured from social media like Twitter, Facebook etc. What is written on social media is of considerable importance to the company.

c) There are a few websites like www.mouthshut.com, www.glassdoor.com etc., that provide outlets to the current and former employees of the company to express their satisfaction or dissatisfaction. The companies in general, and HR Departments, in particular, need to make arrangements to keep a tab on these websites.

d) Many organisations hire external trainers to train their employees. At the end of the session, feedback is taken from the participants on the training programme. However, hardly any company takes feedback from the external faculty on the participants. Feedback from the faculty should also be taken on the quality of the participation, the participants' preparedness, interest in learning etc.

Thanks,

Dinesh Divekar
