Hi,
Executives face the important tasks of realigning current business processes and implementing ERP systems to support the improved capability, especially in five business functions:
Budgeting and control
Centralized capital management, portfolio management and multi-channel financing
Improved project management to strictly control project progress and costs
Effective pricing and other promotion methods to enhance power usage
To achieve these goals, chose SAP as its integrated management information system and its partner to successfully combine information flow through logistics, treasury and operation data to achieve high performance in daily operation. The SAP implementation also promoted companies's transformation from a planning-economy-oriented business operation to a market-driven operation. help the company to develop a centralized organization structure, clarify management responsibility and improve the quality of its service to its customers.
ERP system implementation is a huge project with wide scope, great capital investment, a long implementation period and some risks.
it encounter some problems during transformation, including dealing with the separation of power generation and power T&D.
Human resources (including OM, PA, PT, payroll)
FI/CO (including FI, CO, budgeting, AM)
MM (including purchasing, supplier management, pricing, contract management)
PS (including structure management, progress management, document management, budgeting, logistic, accounting)
PM (including facility register, maintenance planning, repairing management)
According to the client's business requirement, it also helps in developing several system interfaces, including SAP-CESS, SAP-CIS, SAP-LOGISTIC and SAP-GIS.
Start an ERP implementation pilot , three-months'-worth of supporting. Adopt an integrated implementation strategy throughout the project, which enabled it to send the HR module live first and then integrate it with other modules after their implementations.
During implementation, the management and operation employees have a chance to communicate business needs and requirements, which is key to both the project's success and the improvement of Company's business. Because the ERP system is a new concept to the employees, organize several rounds of detail training. then users became qualified to support and train new users in the system

Hi Tripti,
Firstly does your organization have an ERP system? SAP is a very expensive solution, if your company is not a large organization then the cost will be prohibitive. I am not saying that SAP is not good, it is, but you will need to buy a few more modules to be able to have seamless integration to your organizations finance.
I do know of a few other systems that are not as expensive and can be stand alone systems, integration with finance can be done without having a complete ERP system
You must also know what you want in the HR module. Many systems do not have the appraisal system in built, in that case the appraisal system which is very important stays as a manual system.
