Dear Guys,
I have joined in a small manufacturing company, no HR dept till now, we are having software to salary and attendance (Biometric System - Finger Prints), and following leave 1 day per month,
Except the above nothing is there, while meeting with top management, asked about the orgn structure, overall VP is saying "is it an Indian Law to fix and work"
As per my experience, I am thinking that "better to writing in sand instead of writing in water" , In a new startup company definitely structure will change frequently. but am saying make a structure first and then change accordingly.
I want to know how to implement the HR dept (what is the first step to do) and how to educate the top people.
please reply me immediately.
Regards,

Dear Mr. Saravanan
First of all make the programme in writing and move towards it step by step
First implement the Attendance system, by which arrive the Pay structure and salary accordingly.
Maintain all the records / educational certificate / experience certificate of all employees
Formulate your company's service certificate / appointment letter / confirmation letter / promotion policies /
Create your company's PF Registration / ESI Registration (If applicable)
Create Leave Rules for all the cadres of Staff (If ladies are appointed then accordingly make provision for Maternity Leave)
Create your own style of (180 or 360 degrees) Appraisal System as applicable to the company's policies.
You can create the system usage policy for misusing the company system.
If you start implementing one by one, then you will obviously have complete HR systems will come in line.
Wishing you all the Best
With warm regards

Dear saravsist,
Even i also face same problem first thing i suggest u to be a leader. Because this is the opportunity u will never get elsewhere.
Consistently try to convince your management for implementation of new hr policies.
For your reference i am sending you recruitment to retirement process.
Best Luck

It would be better to start with a Hr Manual which will contain all thew hr policys of the organisations. Theen begin with each policys and you will find that every thing will frall in line.
