I want to arrange a program called Communication week but not getting an idea how to do that.
can anybody help me out to tell me the procedure how to arrange this program and what all are the things that I can do in this.

What I got from this is that you want to have a programme to deliver company performance. Instead of going for a week you can say you can have a communication meeting once in the month, where everybody from top management to down level will be present. you can arrange it in canteen or seminar hall. We do it monthly like this. The informantion you can share is.
1. Financial status for that month like currents v. budgeted sales, profit the way u share it.
2. Quality related informationlike customer complaints. PPM at various stages.
3. customer visits,new projects.
4. any regular communication you want to do.
Along with this you can have rewarrd for best project, any Hr event you do for that month, If you have any Idea/suggetion scheme then award for that,award for best team, award for 5 'S' & so many.This meeting you can host & department head can share their deptt. status.
you can have open session with company head where emplyees can ask their que.s to him.
this you can end with snacks for all.

Generally these events do not pose that anxiety unless and untill well organized and professionally segmented activities. The activites may start from as u mentoined extempore, Hot seat games, Interactive games, creative ad sessions, GD's and ofcourse fun involved.

Hi!! This is Durga Chatterjee, to organize communication week in your organization design 6 days schedule like what you would be doing on each day say e.g.
1. Presentation to all of them on netiquettes-e-mail etiquettes followed by guidelines on how to use it effectively as this mode of communication is very popular in any organization. You can even add prizes for the best employee for the efficient use of e-mail user after an evaluation.
2. 2nd day could be on know your writting skills , arrange a competition on report writting, memo writting , application writting etc. again prizes can be given to motivate people
3 Arrange best speaker of the organization , give topics to volunteer participants( each person -different topic) on 2nd day and ask them to be prepared on the 3rd day. Ask them to perform infront of crowd of min 50 employees and then evaluate their abilities
4. 4th day Arrange some communication or listening skill based games on group basis
5 5th day painting competition on the importance of communication, they need to express their views with paint and brush on paper-creativity round, in the later half session of the day you can organize an information session on telephone etiquettes or use of phone for official purpose
6. Final day should be concluding day, first half-nice presentation on the overall importance of communication, interactive with audience, second half - prize distribution and a warm closing with some snacks and refereshments.

Communication week will hav soem games by forming groups if u have time. otherwise it can be a general kind of a programme for the employee's in your office.
give them topic's an ask them to write on it and than hav the groups to simulate and respond to each other.
many more things will tell u later
