Every day the employees work for 6 to 8 hours. Some organisation allow 1st and 3rd Saterdays as HALF DAY i.e. they work only for 4 hours and the organisation give full pay on those days also. So if any one applies for leave (even for 1/2 days) it shall be treated as full day CL. And any employee absents (without leave) on any working day it will be absent on that day no pay for absent day will be given.

Dear Indu
If Saturday is your working day (half day as policy), then presence/ attendance on Saturday will be considered as present for full day and similarly, absence on Saturday will be considered as absent for a full day.
Regards & Thanks,
Kabita.
