The formula for calculating Attrition Rate is : No. of Resignations in a period X 100 Total Workforce in that period Hope this will be useful to you.

If not mistaken, this is Turn Over Ratio.
I don't know how to calculate attrition rate as thread starter ask.
I refer to : Dale Yorder, 1975 :
Labour turn over is defined as the time to time changes in the composition of the work force that result from hiring, release, and replacement of employees.
Number of employee change
LTO : --------------------------------------------- x 100 %
Number of total employees
