Hi,
Mostly there are 3 types of leaves, currently prevailing in the organisations.. the details are as below but it may vary from organisation to organisation...
1. Privilege leaves/ Paid leaves / Earned leaves - 16
2. Casual leaves - 8
3. Sick leaves - 8
Out of these leaves casual & sick leaves can be availed only during that financial year.. whereas Privilege leaves are carried forward to the next financial year.. and these can be encashed.
In some companies it gets encashed on yearly basis whereas in some companies it gets encashed only at the time of separation from the company...
Hope it will be fine with you..
Regards,
Amit Seth.

dear
my friends has given u the hint about number of leave .dear they have given u the leave as they are giving in their organisation.
you are working in a garment industry which is involved in manufacturing process.
dear as per law you have to give earn leave as per factories act which is 1 leave for 20 days working max it will be 15 in a year.
Cl are given as per certified standing orders which are generally 7 in a year but check your standing order how much u have specified in standing order.
sick leave are generally given to employee those are not covered under ESI .these leave are also given as specified in standing orders of company
which is generally 10.
these are minimum leave one has to give ,however if u want to give more u can have seprate leave policy of company but u can not give less than this.
tks
