Hi all, As you all know that all offices have opened up with 33%-50% manpower restrictions.
So can you help me out on how could we calculate salaries for all? Especially coz we opened up by 20th.
Many staff are coming on alternate days, some are on work from home..some are not turning up for work either.
Which is the best way to calculate salaries ?

Dear friend,
Zone-wise gradual relaxation of lock down restrictions regarding functioning of industrial establishments does not ensure total restoration of economic operations in the country. Therefore, involuntary loss of earnings to some section of the working classes due to lock down still continues. In this precarious situation engulfing both the employers and their employees, the moral responsibility of employers to continue payment of wages to all their employees and the justification behind the statutory instructions of the State, in my humble opinion, automatically get diluted with the extension of the lock down despite its statutory relaxations. The ongoing fight against the spread of the disease which is unfortunately on the raise day after day, the shape of the overall economy getting worst from worse and the volatile situation with our neighbors across the borders are the reasonable factors not to blame or to fall back on the Government for any further relief. As such everyone is placed in a situation to look after oneself on one's own.
Therefore, you have to take a decision based on your ability to pay only.
