I need inputs from the experienced HR community here. Are apprenticeships as a hiring practice prevalent mostly in the manufacturing sector? Are the service sectors (for example, retail, e-commerce, logistics, healthcare, hospitality etc.,) hiring apprentices in large numbers too? If not, what are the barriers and issues?
