Dear All, I have been working in a typical Govt organisation having Pan India presence, wherein bringing in changes in the systems and processes is quite challenging. We have been receiving grievances from our serving as well as retired employees for non- settlement of their dues in time, anomalies in Pay fixation, uniformity of preferences being given to technical and non- technical cadres etc. We have been adopting several mechanisms to address these issues by developing SOPs, amendments in policies, imparting training and streamlining by working in SAP.
In such scenario, for enhancing the motivation & performance of the employees, kindly suggest some best practices/ processes for Organizational development which can be practiced/ adopted by HR dept.

Hi,
I suggest introducing on the spot awards to performing employees to boost their morale in front of everybody. Also, the first fifteen minutes of the day should begin with either jokes/laughter session or meditation so teams can feel relaxed throughout the day.
Thanks and Regards,
Akash Sharma
