In the Factory Act 1948, regarding Emergency exit few points are mentioned similar and I am confused.
1- The unit of exit width used to measure capacity of any exit shall be 50 cm. A clear width of 25 cm shall be counted as an additional half unit. Clear width of less than 25 cm shall not be counted for exit width.
2- Occupants per unit width shall be 50 for stairs and 75 for doors.
3-No exit doorway shall be less than 100 cm. in width Doorways shall be not less than 200 cm. in height.
Can anyone explain me points 1 & 2 with respect to point 3. I would be very thankful.
