Dear All,
An employee join the organization in 2015 with a filled PF form 11 declare that he was not a member of PF earlier, and we put his basic+DA above 15K, now in March 2017 he is asking to join the PF membership, can we do that ? If yes DOJ will be changed or we have to pay the contribution since 2015.
2. In form 11 he has already declare that he was not a member of PF in previous organization, now he is saying that he has already UAN which was not shared with us. Now he is requesting to join PF membership. What we can do in this scenario.

Terminate him for providing false information. Employee must declare facts and giving false informations will warrant action Thanks

Better warn him for giving false information/statement & take necessary disciplinary process
You may consider his for EPF contribution. As his basic is above 15000/- both EE & ER contribution need to be accounted to EPF only & no EPS contribution.
Form 11 stands as proof for not having earlier EPF or UAN number. Based on the information declared by the employee, you better generate new UAN number

if you consider him from now then department will raise demand from the Date of original joining, and will raise interest +damage demand on employer.
better wait for couple of months, EPFO is in process to raise the ceiling from 15000 to 25000, and at time the employer can make such employees covered from the effective date. provided there EPF salary (basic+da) is between 15000 to 25000

you should also take in to consideration information furnished in his "Resume" & your Company Application Form.If he was Employed before joining your Establishment, it is deemed that he was covered under EPF.Why he was not covered under EPF in his Previous Employment.HR Department should also verify the information furnished in PF Form No 11& Resume to know about correctness. He is having UAN is admitted. But has he withdrawn his previous EPF Accumulations-Please check and revert with full information.

Yes, you can cover him under EPF with Prospective Date i.e From April-2017.However, he can not become the Member of EPS, Since his EPF Wages is above Rs15,000/-consequently, Employer Share of EPF @12% should be remitted to A/C # 1.For A/C#10-Nil Contribution
Please take a Letter from the Employee concerned for the sake of Record as mentioned below.
I have been in the Employment of your Company from April-2015.But, i have not been covered under EPF Act by virtue of my Basic Salary being above the ceiling Limit of Rs15,000/- Further, i had already withdrawn my previous PF Accumulations before joining your establishment in April-2015
Now, i request you to cover under EPF Act with effect from April-2017 based on my actual Basic Salry.I am furnishing herewith my UAN which may please be used for linking to your Establishment
