Hello The salary what you are showing is much less than the minimum wages as per the Karnataka Minimum wages act. I am not sure your intention for further breakups

Dear Redak,
Mr Jeeva is correct, the structure & break up any wages should not be less than the specified minimum wages of the employment (state/center govt).
Salary breakup is being made just to reduce certain liabilities towards (PF, Bonus, PL encashment, Gratuity etc.), moreover it increase cash in hand salary of the individual.
But as per Supreme court decision wages must be as per applicable minimum wages structure.

I do agree, Salary should not be less than minimum wages. But, minimum wages differs state to state and some follow central sphere.
Even, in some state like TN, minimum wages defined by State Govt differs industry to industry.
@Redak, just asked a breakup and I gave. It is his/her duty to check the minimum wages his/her company follows, before implementing....

How about Apprentices under the Apprentices Act or under the Central Government Skill Development Centre? They are STIPEND and they need not be split as it will not attract ESI or PF

@pasupathieswaran, No need to break up the stipend. FYI, as per latest amendment in Apprentices Act, the stipend should be paid to the bank account of the Trainees.
