Dear Crvankar, Days of month may vary from 28 to 31. Accordingly salary for one day may also vary. Divide your salary by number of days in that particular month to get one day salary. Abbas.P.S

Computation of leave without pay should be computed as 1/26 of monthly gross salary.
So in your case, it will be 13000/26 = ₹500
The above is based on working days. So weekly offs are not considered as leave without pay.

You state that you get Rs. 3000/- per month in cash, (conventional pay). What does this exactly mean? A S Bhat

Dear Mr.Crynkar,
Your message is not clear. If you are seeking the advice for one leave with pay or without pay. Computation method of calculation of salary per day depend upon the company. Normally the salary will be divided by calendar month ie 30/31 in case of weekly day of rest is paid with wages. If not paid paid the same shall be divided by 26 days irrespective any month.
