Dear Pinku,
You have not given enough information to help you. I know of people, who have had a gap of even 10 years between graduation and post graduation, who had no difficulty in explaining the gap. They were working and could explain what they did during those 10 years and how it helped them in the post-graduation course. So, it all depends upon why you had that break and what you did, etc.
