I am working in an insurance company in telesales as Team Leader. I have done MBA in HR in Nov 2012. Due to hectic working hours and profile I didn\'t got time to find a job in HR. As I want to make my career in HR only so from the last 1 month I started searching for job in HR but still didn\'t found any. I found it always difficult to take out time to give interviews.
Also recently I got an opportunity in a hospital for HR executive post but the HR manager told me that she will put me first 15 days on observation (3 are already in observation) and if she is satisfied then she will give me the job. My boss will not allow me for 15 days leave. Should I resign to get this opportunity?

If you are confident about your performance, clear about the parameters the HR manager will observe you on; then you can take a risk. Talk to the HR Manager and ask him more about the observation period and the selection criteria. Ask him, how many positions would he like to fill in out of the four people (including you) under observation. If there are four positions then you may take a risk.
If you want to be on the safer side, then put in a little more effort in searching another suitable job.

Thank you for the reply. There is only one position. The HR is going to observe mainly how soft skills training or guidance improve the communication or behavior of staff employees working at ground level. The person who gets the best result will get a job.
