Dear All,
As the Ceiling limit for ESIC is Up to 15000/- Gross Wages and above which ESIC is not appllicable. Now i have a query Regarding this.
Case 1:- If a person has Gross Wages Upto 14500/- and in any given particular month if his Gross Wages Exceeds Above 15000 due to overtime or any special allowances given to him. are we suppose to calculate his ESIC or he is Exempted.
Case 2:- Vice Versa of that if an Employee who has Gross Wages upto 16000 but due to absenteeism his Gross Wages Comes below 15000 should we calculate his ESIC.
apart from this when a person's name is taken on company payroll what are the specific period of service required to get various benefits under ESIC Scheme.
like for Ex:- only after completion of 9 Months a person is eligible for Leave Previlage, similar manner are there any other scheme to take the benefit of ESIC previlage.
waiting for your Responses
Best Regards

HI,
Related to your asked queries:
Case 1:- If a person has Gross Wages Upto 14500/- and in any given particular month if his Gross Wages Exceeds Above 15000 due to overtime or any special allowances given to him. are we suppose to calculate his ESIC or he is Exempted.
For this:
Answer:- You just take his 14500 for the ESIC deduction as gross. Do not consider his any extra payment for the ESIC deduction.
Case 2:- Vice Versa of that if an Employee who has Gross Wages upto 16000 but due to absenteeism his Gross Wages Comes below 15000 should we calculate his ESIC.
Answer:- Pls do not consider any body those who can getting their gross more than 15001/-. As pr your question if the person is taking his gross Rs.15001/- and above he/she is not eligible for ESIC. Even though he/she gets in any month Rs.10000/-,11000/-,12000/- etc

Ashwin.

Ronnie,
On the immediate basis we have to admit him in the ESIC hospital ( if he/she is not in emergency)
Otherwise in emergency we he/she gets admit in any hospital then on the immediate from employee should have to inform to employer and employer should have to visit their registered ESIC office and have to explain them all the things which happen with employee.
Regarding documents no need to carry any documents to esic. just provide employees TIC (temporary identity card)
thorough which employee will get benefit.

Ashwin
