Hi ALl, Please let me know the amount of "employer's esic" is deducted from employees salary or the employer pays the amount from his side.
Basically i wanted to know : the CTC contains the employer's esic contribution also? and is employer's esic paid by the employees only?

Employer contribution is 4.75% of the gross salary of the employee
Employee contribution is 1.75% of his gross salary.
Nowadays many corporate companies follow the concept of CTC wherein what ever contribution paid by employer on behalf of employee is added to employee CTC. It is wrong only if it is part of gross salary.
