Shilpa, You don’t need to include PT in CTC. Again instead of education, you shall have "Perquisites", which will help you for Tax benefits.

I have Added Gross + Employer deduction ,not PT .so isnt it right?

when Someone Makes Salary breakup for any new joinee or employee, what do they consider in mind or as bench mark to calculate the salary CTC,GROSS, or TAKE HOME.beacuse if it s Gross then calculation is Different as related to CTC .isnt it?

Dear Indira,
thanx for your reply , i considered it 780/- because i thought if PF dedution on basic (i.e 12% ) is above 1000 or 1200. so we do consider it as 780/-.
beacuse thats what i have been told by my Senoir.
so kindly tell me do we have to consider any paticular amount if Pf deduction amount is high.
Regards,
Shilpa

Hi shilpa and others
how do you calculate HRA as 40% of basic because max HRA is 30% of basic only in X category / metro cities.
There is no max limit to conveyance allowance, you can even give 1500 as conveyance allowance but only 800 is exempt for tax basis
PF % depends on the trust if it is EPF then employee 12% and employer 13.68 or something like that %
for private trust it can be 10% employer and employee.
