Hi Mahalakshmi
At the time of interview what was the designation assigned for you?
What I feel is you shall consider you as Accounts Exec or Admin.
Wherein my Case I am handling all the actvities you mentioned and apart from those I am handling even Petty Cash, All purchase related work, Stock meintanance, Liaisoning, Recruitment & all HR Job, Compliance and many. I am Manager Admin later changed as Manager HR/Admin

These activities are related to Accounts work such as Preparing purchase order and sales invoice work whereas central & Sales tax returns and accounts maintenance are related to F&A properly but payroll processing comes under Admin & HR therefore i will go with Mr. Jeevarathnam.
"Account & Admin Executive" would be better.
One thing I would like to say that you must not use designation status for yourself as what you want until you obtain approval of your Boss/Senior or discussion held with them on the same. I buy that you are the only person who are taking care of many things there but have one above you too and his/her agreement on this matters is really important and matters alot.
Hope I made myself clear..

Dear Mr. Arora
Thanks for your inputs.
There are many organisations wherein Accounts persons will handle Payroll. Especially in small and mid sized Garment Manufacturing and other industries Accounts persons are handling payroll.
As you said Designation will be given by management itself. As per mahalakshmi's words I feel that there might not be any senior colleague in her department. She might be reporting to Boss/MD

Hi Mahalakshmi
You can ask his suggession for designation. If not then you request your designation as Accounts Executive.
One more thing you should keep in mind is about your career. Brief me what is your future plans. You want to be in Accounts or HR/Admin. Even Qualification matters. Based on all the criterias if you select the designation then it helps for your career development
