Hello All, I want to know the Payroll process for India.
What are the labour laws, wage acts , HRA,ESI,PF ,TDS and other calculations, and any important things to be considered to process the payroll of the employees?

HI Nitu,
HRA = 40%
IN ESI : Employee contribution is 1.75% & Employers contribution is 4.75% both are calculated on the gross salary
In PF: BOth the employer & the employee contributes equally to the rate of 12%

Hi, I am sorry, but I do not have any knowledge of payroll and certainly not Indian payroll process. I suggest the easiest course of action is to brief your management on hiring an SAP consultant to assist you in getting it right.
