Dear friend w
01.It is depend upon the nature of accident only. The ESI hospital itself give treatment and the corporation will give only leave wages. In some cases we can submit all the original bills and payment receipts for claiming the expenditure. But the medical refer will investigate the case and ask us to appear in front of him along with witness and they will sanction the amount. But they will not give full amount.
02.The esi corporation itself published the approved hospitals list in its website. u can found out the name of the hospitals. Otherwise on emergency u can admit at the nearest hospital and inform or register the case immediately to the dispensary and the local office for further claims

Dear sir,

Thank you for your kind response.
1)Actually, we are contractors.our few employees who are under in ESIC policy are working in our bangalore site without ESI card due to not submitting family photo.so far our all ESI activities are managed through Outside auditor only ,but hereafter i should undertake this all in my hand...
Here my question is "is there any other way to get ESI card for them at banglore? because i can never bring them all to our office for take family photo
(even my auditor told me there is no way to process at banglore also)
please i need ur valid suggestion here...

Hi Mohan,
What mr. Alphones said is right. but for your information, one of my worker met an road accident after his logout from the shift, due to emergency as a HR & IR i itself went to local hospital and understand the situation about him, there is no better equipment in local hospital, so decided to sent him to chennai GH. after that i wrote a letter to ESIC about his situation for medical claim. but in local dispensary they clearly said give the letter and all. and also if the person come to us we will take care medical claim like that they refused the letter.
After that we went to talk with the dispensary office and convinced them about the situation, then they were accepted.
So moral is, if the accident is heavy injured and admitted in any of the government local hospital, the esic will take care his medical claim. if any private hospital means they wont.
