Can a company deny medi claim during the probation period?
In my company, I have been said this as a reason. As per policy, employee can only get medi claim once there are out of probation period of 6 months.
Is that the case? Please provide the relevant information to educate my company.

It purely depends on the company management/policy whether the employee should be given Mediclaim policy on or before confirmation. If the employee is covered under ESIC Act then only the employer is liable to enroll the employee on joining itself.
Apart from that as pointed out by Pon if there is any accident/injury within the company premises or during the course of work/way to work the scenario changes. Please be specific on the query so that the forum members can give you their views appropriately
