Hi All!
I manage the HR functions of a relatively small IT organisation not very structured with HO in Kolkata and Branch offices is Delhi & Mumbai.
Would like to formulate one HR Budget for my organisation as a step towards making a planned move.
Request you all to provide the relevant things that should be there in my Budget, considering an employee strength of about 125 in all.
Thnx in advance
Suchandra

Hi,
These are some of the expenses that I always budget for since money wise I take care of both HR and Admin needs:
- Rent for premises
- Rent for Company Guest house
- Landline bills
- Reimbursements - mobile bills, local conveyance, miscellaneous
- Staffing charges (we use consultants to help us in permanent staffing)
- Electricity
- Corporation Water
- Drinking water - Bisleri
- Tea/ Coffee - Nescafe vendor
- Newspapers
- Housekeeping materials
- Birthday Celebrations for the month
- Stationary
- The approx salary (CTC) for the no of people we will be hiring in a month/ year
- Approx expenditure for any outings planned for office
I hope this helps - i know it's mostly admin stuff there.. but this should give you an idea...
Regards,
Marshneil

Hello Suchandra. What should go in the annual training budget varies enormously from company to company. As you speak with the management team in finding out what your skill gaps are, you might want to check off the following general training categories:

-management, leadership and supervision skills

-soft skills, such as communication and conflict resolution

-environment, health and safety

-human resource processes, such as performance management

-business skills, such as strategy, planning and process improvement

-technical line and staff skills such as telephone etiquette and inventory management

Soon, I will be putting up a page on our website dealing specifically with how to conduct a training needs analysis. We also have some training templates for helping conduct a training needs analysis at http://www.businessperform.com/html/...ment_pack.html
