Hello Friends & seniors,
I m 101% agree with Mr R N Dixit that mejority of staff are paying lots of money in esic deduction yearly but because of lac of facility in esic Hospital or unavilability of the doctors in their area thay are not taking the benefits of ESIC & also always unsatisfied about their deduction of ESIC which is of 0 use to them.
I would like to request everyone pls oppose this law by sending ur objection to the mentaion ADD :-

I think this is not for implementation for raising objection, what opinion will Govt not implement after strong objections from employers. It shall be implemented whether raise objection or not.

I totally agree that ESIC limilts should not rise bcz employees are not taking that much benefits from esic due to lack of unavailability of hospitals & docors or medicine.

I am agree with u that ESIC limilts should not rise bcz employees are not taking that much benefits from esic(70% of employee of private sector ) not going for a single time to despenceries of hospital in a life due to lack of unavailability of hospitals & docors or medicine

i also agree with this amendment, but there must be a cieling i.e if the employee gross salary is more than 10000/- to 15000/-the max amnt must considered for 10000/- only, so that the employee salary upto 15000/ wil be covered under ESI and this wil be not much burden on employee aswell as on employer. so now as per the proposal the total amnt for 15000/ wil be 263 + 712 = 975/- and annuly if u calculate it wil be 3156 + 8544 = 11700/- so its a huge amnt and every body knows that only few people take benefit from ESIC.
so i thing this is the point to rised now.
waiting for ur responce.

what is the use by bringing more employees cover under ESIC. This move clearly indicating that Govt need more fund to facilitate their own people. Insted of this Govt. should concentrate on improvement in hospital facilities.

Obvoisly its a diferent thought.. i dont have any prlb from ESIC bcoz our employees hav benifited a lot from it. i only dont agree with the revision or increase in amnt, bcoz it becomes burden to the poor employees & even smal estb. so my sugestion is try to make aware of the scheme to the employees & help them geting the benefits.
so plz be positive and even u can make a randam survey @ shopfloor level.

Definetly thanks Madhura for raising this issue. We all should send a mail to Mr.Xaviour so that out together efforts will make a difference. There is no use of spending our hard earned money in such a things which are extremely useless to us.
In my case i loose nearly 500 k of my salary each month as both sided ESIC get deducted from my salary. Can any one tell me that are employees are supposed to pay the both sided contribution of PF as well as ESIC.I am confused????
Thanks

As per ESIC Act, the deudction should be from both the side i.e. Employee as well as Employer. The rate of deduction from employee is 1.75% and Employer is 4.75%.
Hope this clear your's confusion.
