Not knowing what your employees are thinking can hurt you.

Knowing their feelings, concerns, likes and dislikes, enables you to accentuate the positives and eliminate the negatives. If people are content and pleased to be working for you then you should recognize it. If they are unhappy and concerned then you should know that and be prepared to deal with it.

Management is often the last to hear about "hidden" problems. An Employee Attitude Survey gives you the information you need to make effective and meaningful changes in your daily and long-term operations.

The questions should be unambiguous, straight forward and should leave no room for misinterpretation or dual responses.

Questions should focus in these areas to find out if the employees think:

* They get constructive feedback from thier manager.

* They have the tools necessary to do thier job.

* They understand how thier work performance is judged.

* They feel empowered to address customer issues.

* They believe that there are opportunities for them to advance at ABC Company

* They believe that they are being paid fairly.

Dear Colleagues,
The issue Employee Attitude Survey-hope is not being mixed with Employee Satifaction Survey?
There are posts already available on Employee Satifaction Survey but for attitude-the tools nad measurement to be used would certainly be biased or skewed towards whoever is administering-questionaire, interview etal.
For instance if Employees are told to rate themselves on issues such as respect, obedience, adherence, loyalty etal they would certainly give themselves high marks even when they are deficient in all these things.
In the same vein if they are to be evaluated by their Line Managers they
might not amount to nothing in the appraisal, hence they could .
In the light of this I just want to be sure that the Question is Satisfaction Survey.
Thanks.

Dear Aditi,
Like many bloggers you have also sought help without giving enough information either about yourself or the organisation and its activities. Have you searched CiteHr and also the web for info on Employee Attitude Surveys and questionnaires? If you have not, I suggest that you kindly do that. I found quite a few useful sites by searching the web using Google.
Have a nice day.
