HI freinds
We are a pharma company hedqurtered at Kolkata and operates from here. we have employees over 280 posted different location in the country and registered under ESI act at kolkata local office.
as you everybody knows that as per circular of ESIC every employee need to go the the local office with their dependants to get photographed for the purpose of smart card.
But it is difficult to bring all the employees to kolkata and get photographed as i told that they are posted at different locations. So may i know how are you the people managing this ? And do you have any suggestion for me??

hai, i understood. is anyof your out stationed employee have taken esi benifit for any reason?..even it centalised also , u can take the letter from regional esi corporation and send it to concenred local office for any esi related purpose.
regarding photo ..u can take the photo from local branch office itself by takeing the office help. send the employees names to local office branch wise.

As you know ESI Returns, Declaration has to be submitted to local branch office, ESI card are also issued by local esi branch office, as the card issued by local office the employee can go & take the photo for smart cards.

Since it is not possible to bring all the employees to one local ofice along with the family you can ask your employees to vist the nearest loacl office which is convenient for them.
And also if you can organize to gather atleast 50 of your employees at one place then the Inspector from ESI Local office would organize a photo session at your place only.

Dear Anupam,

As of now ESIC is working Branch Office Model.i.e.you need to take ESIC sub codes in every city wherever your employed stationed.Once the sub code generated to your company then you can transfer all these employees ESIC numbers to that respective locations.After that employees can visit to their respective branch office and give Biometric details of self and family/dependants.Once the biometric card given then employee can avail benefit in any ESIC dispensary/Hospital/Model hospital.

Even employee can get cash benefit from any of the branch office in India since all the branch offices,RO's,SRO's and hospitals are connected with a network.

To obtain Sub code in any location you need to submit an application form to the respective branch office.As per the ESIC notification It is not mandatory that you have have a office in that location to obtain subcode.Required docs for obtaining of subcode.

1. Full address of Head Office

2.Addressed of Factory/Establishment

3.Nature of Business of Factory/Estt.

4.Date of coverage of Factory /Estt.

5.Code No. allottted to H.O./Regd. OfficeBy Corporation.

6.Full address of Local Branch office.

7.Date of starting Local Branch Office.

8.Nature of Business.

9.No. of employees posted at Local ranch office.

10.Person Incharge of Local branch Office.

11. List of Direcrtors/Partner/Proprietor along with residential address.

12.Name of Bankers & A/C Number.

I BELIEVE YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY OTHER OFFICE OUT OF KOLKATA. IN THIS CASE WHAT U CAN DO IS. CALL THE EMPLOYEE TO KOLKATA AND GET THERE PHOTO SESSION DONE, CHANGE THERE ESI DISPENSERY TO LOCAL AREA WERE THEY ARE WORKING FAMILY CAN BE ADDED LATER ON IN THERE RESPECTIVE LOCATION WERE THEY ARE STAYING.

pls tell ur employees to submit there photgraph with their dependents and and then u send the esci form to them they will fill it and give back to you and then take company registration document alongwith employess details and then u can get employees registered.
i hope this idea will serve to u
