I`m an MBA student.i`m planning to do my project in the title HUMAN RESOURCE PLANNINING IN ORGANISATIONS. Hi Martin,
Your topic sounds generic and for an academic project, you have to take specific topic n do reserch on it. You can do project on "Retention Strategy", here you can research on the retention potential of the company, what is potetial of the company to retain its peopl. You can analyze the retention potential in 3 periods viz., past present and future. Find out the parameters which holds the people to stay in the organisation, say for example, Growth aspects, Recognition, compensation....and check with the people how it motives over three periods. Thus u'll come to the potential of the organisation in retaining the people. Post me if u hav any queries....

topic "human resource planning" is too generic.
Why dont you take up smething like role of HR during the recession period.
HR is not being ackknowledged by corporates during this stessful period. Prepare a project on how beneficial the HR is during these trying times and how cost effective it would be to have a good hr team!
