Anyone can answer my question? It’s important. I guess staffing is not a part of HR Planning. Am I right? or, Wrong? I need to clear of this confusion.

yes because staffing means "The selection and training of individuals for specific job functions, and charging them with the associated responsibilities"

Thanks to both of you for replies.
@Khan, my argument is before selection and training you need to make planning. And all the fundamental functions of Management is interrelated. But that doesn't mean Planning is part of Staffing or vice verse. So, this should also correct that Staffing is not a part of Planning. Thanks for your reply and forth coming response.

HI,
First of all you need to be clear of what your asking. Did you mean - Is staffing a part of HR Planning OR Is staffing included while HR Planning is done.
In Layman terms -
HR Planning is a process that identifies the gap between the current business situation & Manpower Vs the Future business needs & Manpower and develops a plan to bridge this gap.
Staffing is to be considered as a resource here and not as part of the process, but rather will be informed of the same.
Hope this helps.
