Hi,
I am looking for some psychometric test (questionnaire with analysis) to be conducted for pre placement training. Training to be imparted to the final semester students of our B school
I thought of FIRO B or MBTI, but the both seem not to be more accurate for freshers.

Thanks for the prompt response.
I have to train the students for cracking the job interview and psuchometric test is one of the part of it.
It depends upon the feasibility whether should I go for online or else. Would you please eplain aobut the cost involved in customised online test.
If you people have any customised format with analysis, please send me the same.

Dear Satish,

If you conduct the test from authorised agency, it will cost you about US$ 40 or US$ 50 per person. Are you in position to shell out these charges.

I have sample MBTI test. Based on this I conduct training on MBTI titled "Know your Personality". MBTI concept has to be understood properly. Merely taking test does not suffice the purpose.

Objective of the training is not only to understand one's personality profile but understand the personality of other person by skillful questioning. Every time one cannot have the psychometric test, hence we have to rely on questioning skills to judge the personality of the persons around you.

At the end of the training session, I show small video clip of prominent Hindi film. Based on the dialogue between hero and heroin, I tell the participants to asses the personality profile of the heroin. Participants get fascinated by this exercise.

"Know your Personality" is a half day module. I have tried this module several times and when I ask the participants about the matching rate with their own personality, they say that it matches between 75 to 95%.

When it comes to MBA students, I have conducted training on this module for the students of IILM, Bangalore and TAPMI, Manipal (Karnataka).

Next month, I will be at Mumbai for my training programme. I have training programme on 21 Apr 2010. Can we align training of the students of your institute to this date?

By the way, I am into employee training and development for a long time. Generally I handle training of the managers and above. However, this module is unique and understanding one's personality at early stage is quite important hence I will conduct the training for the students.
