Hi,
To convince companies for Campus interview, you can give figures of placements done during previous yeasr or can always give them name of the good companies which have absorbed your students...
Go with a good presentation and insititute's placement bulletin to the company's HR department.....Placement bulletin should be good enough for creating first impression...Do homework before going!..It would be great if you study company's recruitment process before approaching them...
Hope this would help you...

Hi Sashi,
I think the information given by Chaitali is absolutely correct, what makes the difference is the placement bulletin and also studying the Recruitment process of the companies before going to them will also help you a lot.
ALL THE BEST..............

Hi Shashi,

It wont make any difference if your college is in remote area....company will see quality of the students and not the college location and infrastructure.....other thing is that instead of calling companies to college you can send good and selected students from your end to the particular companies for an interview....it is not necessary to call them in your college...because college knows who are the good candidates......

Reply for the top enginnering college who has just started offering MBA:

Your college is already famous for engineering faculty that means it is not necessary for you people to give total information about college....You can distribute single page brochure for the same that your college has started M.B.A programme....Companies will automatically come to know about it...

In nutshell, there are companies who give stress on premier institutes..but you would also find companies who see qualities of the students and not the tag...coz students who passed out from premier college asks for very huge pacakage..which even some good companies cannot afford!........so do not worry about anything..groom yourself or students to face an interview.....and then sky is the limit....... :) :)
