i m working in 1 of the pharma co.in hr dept
i jst want to know what kind of leave policies cmpany can have? right now we dont have any policy for sick leave.
thus kindly guide particularly for sick leave policy .

I work as casual labour for a driving company (unable to say which one for obvious reasons). I am being asked to sign a contract which states that I can only take 4 weeks leave a year. As I only get paid for the hours I work if I want to take more holiday off than that (1) why do I have to sign a contract and (2) why can I just not give the company notice that I will not be working for say 3 weeks at a time?
