I disagree with this...
Why to spoil candidates future by considering our future(closures)?
We will also be a candidate for some other jobs and if someone post bad comments on our profile. Then????
So please friends think and proceed...

adding comments is not so easy as you are thinking naveen, if u add such comments then that candidate can sue you for effecting his career.
every body are having right to choose job of their interest. We can't write any comments just bcoz his/she has not joined our co, this may spoil even our co image as well.

Hi Naveen,
Thanks for this post.......!!!
Well the frustration is quite obvious.....but lets not forget that "one recruiters loss is the other recruiters benefit". Ultimately it is that persons career...N all have a freedom of choice here. Its fair enough if it is conveyed in a professional manner well in adavance rather than ignorance & just couple of days before the joining.
It is the recruiter who has to judge the candidate with all regards before offering such dicey candidates & accordingly plan a back up. :) & this is the biggest challange for a recruiter.
I completly disagree with your view...:!:

I just wonder, why 63 [HR & Non-HR] says that the offenders should not be punished. In practice, if a person commits a mistake, we see that he is punished, so that he does not commit that mistake again. This happens even from our school days in all walks of life. Even the law punishes the child who does a mistake for the first time. In fact, a dog is also punished for its mistake. Aren't these people having a future for themselves. why do we so called educated and experienced run a different law for us?
Its not only attitude of the candidate. The time & money we spend on the candidate is high. If we also make a mistake knowingly, accept it and be ready for consequence, else don't commit. Its fare enough.

Hello frendz,
After reading of all replies i would like to add something. Its true sometime people caught in a genuine situation but what to say all those candidate who are expecting 100 % hike or those who are blaming consultant in the mid of the interview about job description that consultant hadn’t send us. Failure to explain the role they feel it easy to give this flimsy excuse. Some people refuse the offer bcoz after the shortlisting of their canditure they expect sr grade….nd I don’t think so any consultant forward candidates cvs without discussion of position level , role and position’s location…..then why they ask sr level after the all rounds??
I have worked on sr. as well junior position also but 70 times I had to faced problems like my wife is hospitalize , I got call from my boss side and I have to attend one urgent meeting, I have forgotten my cell at my friend’s home, I was on the way but I met an accident bla bla….
What is the criteria to check weather he / she is facing genuine problem?? And when the same excuse giving by lots of candidates than what a consultant do? Even are client scolded us very badly bcoz they feel that this is our responsibility and we are fail to finish that.
Todays people believe that if you have next candidate than we have also another offer.
