Dear Anonymous,
A simple formula to calculate salary per month is as under
Net Salary per month in hand / Full no of day in the month X No of paid days (the days the employee has worked in the month + paid leaves if any)
For. e.g. the net / in - hand salary of an employee is Rs.25K, and his total paid days (including paid leaves) in the month of March'19 was 27, then his salary payable for the m/o March'19 would be =
25,000 / 31 X 27 = Rs.21,774/-
But in calculation, an employee's salary is usually divided into several components viz., Basic, HRA, Conveyance, Spl Allowance, etc., in that case, each component is divided in the same way and then the result in each case is summed up to form the payable salary for that month.
Hope I have made it clear to quite an extent.
