Hr function is quite crucial job for smooth functioning of any organization. Infact females are very diplomatic and they have a very high degree of demarcation capability as well as a nature that give a keen observation of the details. These are some of the reasons why females are suitable for the HR jobs.

Dear Neha, Archana and other female HR Colleagues
I totally agree with you and your views? I am not against working women or women in HR. I am highly appreciate for all that they are doing in HR. They say it is difficult to speak the truth and it is equally difficult to listen and accept the truth. I believe in Data. Do you know,
1) How many females are heading the HR team of their organization? (Where the company is having just one office)?
2) How many females are heading the National HR team (where the company is having more than one office)?
3) How many females are heading the Global HR Team (where they company is having offices outside country as well)?
4) How many MNC's, (those who have started their office in India) are having female as a HR-Head?
The fact is...out of the total HR Heads...across the country only 12.63% females are heading the HR of their companies. There are only 8.32% female HR Heads of National Companies (Companies having more than one office). There are only 5.76% Global Female Heads...(where companies have offices out of India as well). Any in the last category...there are only 2.83% female HR Heads (in MNC's that are having offices in India). (Courtesy: Virgin Management Consultancy)
I agree that ladies can understand people better than males...then why there are less females in Politics (I call politics as Public Service or People Service)? There they need reservation to get enough representation.
I don't talk...theories. I talk about facts and data.
Awaiting for your Comments.

Dear Sanjeev,
I really liked the posts with facts, but in addition to what you have written I just want to write this:
# India has always been a male dominated society, since last many centuries. YOU AGREE, YES
# When did the women liberalisation came into picture. LATE 80's
# Males have always been in various industries, corporates etc, female started very late YES, YOU AGREE
# In just two and a half decade if females can grow upto a level, fulfilling other responsibilities such as Pregnancy, Family care, Sacrifice due to various reasons. I think it is a GREAT ACHIEVEMENT and WE ALL SHOULD SALUTE ALL THE WOMEN FOR THAT.
I also like to talk with facts, and hope you agree with what all I have added.
:D
One more thing, why we always talk about women's role and higher position in Corporates, WHY CAN'T WE TALK ABOUT MEN TAKING CARE OF HOUSEHOLD RESPONSIBILITIES???
People do not talk about that, which again proves that our society is still MAle dominated.
Thanks & Regards

dear archna and other friends,
The society till some time before was male dominated one. But the scnerio is fastly changing ....especially in urban areas ....and changes takes place in slow phase in rural areas.
It is true and good signal that the female are coming to top positions now a days.
Now the scnerio is that this society is belongs to both FE/MALE.
I can just quote a true incident happened in chennai.
Husband and wife were working and placed in a good position in thier office with good salary. They have 2 kids.
At the later stage they feld that kids needs presence of one member either husband or wife.
They both discussed and husband left the job to take care of house front and the kids.
Now they have good life husband takes care of all the responsibilities at home and wife is going to office as usual.
So i believe both needs to contribute whatever way they can ..in order to have good life.

[color=blue]Hello Archana, Supriya and other females...in this discussion.
I never declined the females contribution to the society and to the family. They are unmatchable.
If the world or India is dominated by males...whose fault this this? If the woman never fought for their right, whose fault is this. Sacrifices, family, pregnancy...to me these are just excuses.
One more fact or data...you might like to know...probably you are not aware...woman at the top are alone. Those who are highly successful...in their career...around 94.89% of them are either divorcee's or they never got married. and remaining 6.11% had nuclear family...and very supportive husbands.
I had my boss...and he use to say..."the way ladies can handle the house and finance; the way they can keep the family united...no one can do that. It calls for perfection. So, let them choose. If they want career...let them grow there. If they are at house...let them handle that properly. Problem starts when they want to step into two boats". (Do Naav mein chalney wale doob jaatey hain).
I can share my own example...my fiancee. I asked her what she want...career or family. If she want family...then she need to handle the whole family and I will not interfere in that. And if she want career then we can share the household work. Because we want career...we want to grow professionally...we mutually decided...not to have family.
So, whenever you try to handle many things...you fail; you get stressed and burn-out.

Hi Sanjeev,
You must have seen females who sacrifice their career for their family and handling it very efficiently. But have you ever seen a men who allow their wife to build her career and ready to handle family as his wife is doing ?
M not telling this is only fault of mens but off course you can't blem females for the same. they are the foundation of our society who builds future very strongly.

Hi,
I think you are contradicting your own statements.
First you are saying that pregnancy, sacrifice of job due to family reasons are just excuses.
And then you are saying that females who are on top, 94% are never married or are divorcee.
So you are saying that women who are successful in professional life are not successful in Personal. And that is the reason why most females leave their career in between or take a break.
That is exactly my point, most of us wants to get married and understands that without a mother, daughter, wife and sister the family cannot be that successful.
Another thing is MALE DOMINATED SOCIETY, I dont need to give any facts on that, everyone knows the fact.
Why you want to help your fiancee in household work?
And How many males do this for their wives??
I can predict that by 2020 the scenario will be very different.

Archana and Supriya...and other ladies who participated in this debate...
Yes...future will be different. Things are changing now itself. More and more people (males and females) are not making any commitment to any relation. Facts are proof that now...people want to get married....in their 30's ...some in fact in late 30's, because they want to have enough time for a professional life and career...before making any such commitment. So, no doubt time is changing...and another 10-15 years will change the whole scenario and trend.
Nothing comes free. So, what cost are we paying for such change? Is it worth? It is important to have dreams in life and it is equally important to know the efforts that it will take to chase those dreams. Those who have dreams and have also realized the cost...they are successful...be it male or female. If Hillary Clinton becomes the President of USA as is predicted...she will the first female President in more than 125 years of History of USA.
If I am helping my fiancee it is for obvious reason that we both want to have grow professionally and make place for ourselves. It is about understanding and having dreams.
