Dear All,
One thing is for sure is that, irrespective of function, (whether MKTG of HR) Big Brands do create a good impact in your CV. At least in the early stages of your career, it makes sense to be associated with a Big Name. The main reason here being that these organisations are supposed to have stringent screening process vis-a-vis with reasonably good compensation packages. The question of Functionality-Specification with respect to Brand Recognition does not arise here.

Harsha

From India,
some imp points are as Young graduate are prone to choose biggies at what ever cost to make the position in corporate since the benefit the brand name, big project portfolio, corporate career growth, compensation, position etc but since in digital economy new startups have spear up and surpass the names and also inviduals are likely to take less risk, easy going to choose biggies. But long term career may not benefit always.
