Dear Sari,
Why are we discussing this? As long as both of them maintain the office ettiquets and dicipline how are we concerned with thier relationship? Please dont medal with their personal life since you are not aware of facts leading to such relationship.

I should not be saying this, but how come you all say you are HR professionals, and are getting carried away with if someone in the office is having an extra marital affair?????????. You all are wasting you time, talking about this issue.
Tell you all, if i have 20 extra marital affairs it shouldn't matter to anyone until unless my performance or behavior towards others is not deteriorating. This is seriously so illogical to think of such an issue. how come you are call yourself Expert HR professionals when you don't even know how to maintain someones privacy and that too you are discussing in this forum about such matter. I just hope the concerned person doesn't see's this discussion. Its a shame calling myself an HR if this is what has to be discussed by so called Hr professionals, expert in humanitarian Science and Human Psychology.

I think if her performance is good then no need to make issue on these things. Its her personal life. May be its possible that couple have a good relationship/best friends..............
So please dnt interfere in her personal life.

Dear Sari,
I think what Mangesh says is right you should take her into confidence & talk to her and explain her how her behavoir is affecting the office atmosphere. Also, as you don't know her background & real situation in what she is you cannot judge her.

Dear All,

Its all about true that we have a social structure around us, everyone has friends, affairs etc, but it is the level and the impact of an affair on the society, impact on personal / married life of someone (who has deteriorating impact for life of someone) , impact of an affair on co-workers, Impact of an affair on really innocent and sincere employees, some of whom will also like follow the example set by an "EXPERT HR PROFESSIONAL" who very cleverly maintains privacy in Personal life called "affair" and his Professional Life, IT IS REALLY A MATTER OF POLLUTING THE COMPANY'S EMPLOYEES MORAL AND SOCIAL IMAGE OF A GOOD COMPANY.

So I think one should not get involve in affair in workplace and talk about privacy. If its love, It is different matter.

I hope you all will understand - save social environment, save employees morale, but without maintaining a so called properly balanced "AFFAIR".

It is called the CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY.

HR professional are expected to set an example of highest moral integrity

Thanks

good answer just as i was thinking. This is where India falls behind all other countries. never mind., its not worth talking to people who are numb just because they cannot fight against of their dogmatic culture, which allows peoples privacy to exposed deliberately to set an example of great deeds like this. Congratulations and good keep it up, all of you will be appreciated for every other move you do and people will clap their hands out of gratitude for you and what all you have done for this society.

Very Good - you can call our India "Dogmatic". But it is present situation and we can not deteriorate it by introducing at once what is in other countries. Disputes are common their on the name of personal life.
In India, we can not compromise with Professional integrity and moral values in our work environment. This is true for ever. I hope you will surely agree.

Hi ravi Shankar
i think you should talk to her before taking any rash against her . As you told he is good enough at work what management required she is doing that's great. she is Woman so you should think about her future also as you know in our society men can do whatever they want but not woman, its really disgusting as far as our society concern. You cant judge her personal life ,may be she need support what she didn't get from her hubby or may be he has some extra marital affair also
