I need to interview my company's chairman and managing director for an in-house magazine. What questions should I ask? My focus is on what's new in the organization and what does he want from the employees of the organization to take the company forward.

Dear Juhi,
The current financial year is on the verge of closure. If we look back then for most of the companies it was annus horribilis. So the first question that arises is how does both of them look to the forthcoming financial year.
Notwithstanding the tough days of the lockdown of the last year, did employee(s) demonstrate exemplary conduct? The memorable events if any, can be recalled by Chairman and MD.
The losses made in the current financial year needed to be covered up. So what do they expect to cut the backend cost? What involvement do they expect from the employees? What role employees can play to improve asset utilisation?
Above all, we are still passing through the COVID-19 pandemic. Primarily work in your industry demands contact with the general public. Against this backdrop, what precautions employees continue to take.
Lastly, what are the expansion plans of the company?
This is what as an outsider I could have suggested.
All the best!
